At Great Harwood St Bartholomew's Parish CE VA Primary School, our Christian faith is at the heart of everything we do. Our vision, "Follow Jesus in all we do," is more than just a statement. It is the foundation of our school and guides the way we learn, lead, care for others and make decisions each day.
The St Bart's Way
The St Bart's Way is about following the example of Jesus in our daily lives. It is seen in the kindness we show, the respect we give, the courage we demonstrate and the way we support one another to flourish. Our Christian values of Love, Courage, Friendship, Service, Forgiveness and Justice are woven through every aspect of school life and help shape our unique school culture.
Christ underpins all that we do. He is at the centre of our vision, our relationships, our curriculum and our worship. We believe every child is a unique gift from God, deserving of love, encouragement and the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As a Church of England school, we provide a nurturing environment where children can explore faith, ask big questions and develop spiritually alongside their academic learning. Through our close partnership with St Bartholomew's Church, collective worship and opportunities to serve others, we encourage children to live out their values and make a positive difference in the world.
